17 July Sat:
12 inch Good Guy Doll by McF. $120. Very rare. Acquiring it was no child's play. And now he's my friend till the end ^^v.
I think I'm an idiot. After all these years, I never realized my DEG Kisou album had a Japanese lyrics booklet hidden in between the case under the CD until I read about it from some website just now. I can still smell the fresh packaging smell on it.
And I'm gonna sell the album away tomorrow... bleah (X.x)~!
Got this from Lady Emer who got it from Sir Scube...

20 Questions to a Better Personality
Wackiness: 54/100
Rationality: 56/100
Constructiveness: 28/100
Leadership: 48/100
You are a WRDF--Wacky Rational Destructive Follower. This makes you a hacker. Your thirst for knowledge can be damaging to your possessions--you like to take things apart, even if you then forget to put them back together. You demand respect and, no matter how much you are respected, seldom feel it is adequate. You are tenacious, and will stick to a task long after weaker minds have given it up.
Socially, you are awkward, and get into arguments and make people uncomfortable. One recommends counting to ten, holding back comments unless warranted, and listening more than speaking. Still, your no-holds-barred approach to socialization can be strangely endearing, as long as you are funny and self-deprecating.
You feel misunderstood, and you probably are.

Long ago, I've stopped doing quizzes and reading horoscopes. I think earlier before I might have consumed too much information from unverified sources telling me what my personality is instead of allowing myself to shape what I become. To some extent, quizzes and horoscopes and such stuffs may well tell something about our personalities, but only very generally and superficially.
While we may have believed in them at one time or another, and nodded our heads in agreement with what the texts describe about our personalities, the real danger of believing too much leads to a self-fulfilled prophecy, meaning that the prophecy becomes true and fulfilled only because you believe so much in it. Unwary readers like myself in earlier days consume such information without verifying their validity, subsequently shaping their own lives and attitudes according to the information they have consumed, thus it is no wonder they have to say those things are true... you should try this... it's very accurate.
Think about it, how often do we nod our heads in agreement compared to the times that we don't? Then again, how often have we deliberately gave the opposite answers to some of such quizzes just to test how effective they are? I tried once or twice and... Surprise! My opposite and obviously wrong answers still yielded what I felt were accurate descriptions about my personality. Oh... wow...
Now I have come to rely less on these 'quizzes' or whatever that tells me what I should be, and believe that I am way more than those puny limitations. Of course, I'm not running them all down if all you can see is simple black and white. I'm only saying, "Too much ain't gonna be helpful for you, time to depend on something more reliable - yourself." Then again, some of these 'information' still hold value for me... eg. Aquarians are rebels of sorts, do crazy things, think unusual ideas. That's a strong tendency which I agree with, only that I wonder today, how much of my 'unconformist' attitude is natural and how much of it is a product of these self-fulfilled prophecies?
With all these criticisms, there's a danger I might be asked, "Then why do you even bother to do the quiz?" Like most others, for fun, but, unlike most others, with less belief.
Conclusion: I think it best for us to become more selective of what we consume. An unthinking consumer is a willing victim.
